I decided that I would make Maisie a Pom-Pom Rug from her room (like this one - http://apronthriftgirl.typepad.com/apron_thrift_girl/2006/09/craftivity_anyo.html). So far we have made 37 pom-poms........it looks like we are going to need at least 200!! :) I am sure it will be worth it in the end....right??

Tonight Shawn and I went to the London Music Club with some friends to see Craig Cardiff. For those of you who think they haven’t heard of him......well you will have heard his music if you have ever listened to the music on my blog. I actually ventured out into the cold with the kids today and man was it was freezing!!! We went for a walk to the park and played in the snow and then went home for some hot chocolate to thaw us out.

So Maisie sleeps with us EVERY NIGHT.....I would love to reclaim my bed again! We decided to implement stars for every night that Maisie sleeps in her own bed all night. She has been stuck on 4 stars for the last 3 nights. Let hope I get a peaceful night sleep without 3 in the bed tonight.

I was feeling better today so we decided to have our family day outting today and we would just stay home tomorrow and watch movies & play the wii. We took the kids to River Valley for an afternoon of tubing. All the kids had such a great time expecially Maisie....she is such a little dare devil and loved going down the hill.....the faster the better.

Today was a bit of a crappy day. I worked this morning and started feeling ill this afternoon :( I think I am fighting a cold so all I want to do is sleep. So today's pic is just a quick one of some candles in my bathroom.....they don't stay lit very long because Maisie always blows them out.

Tonight I went tubing with my awesome friend Amanda :) Haven't laughed so hard in ages! Next time I need to remember to bring something to cover my teeth with so they don't get so cold when I laugh.....or scream down the hill.

Have you seen this man?? Apparently he is no longer allowed to go tubing at River Valley.....maybe it has something to do with his lack of hands & feet??

Do you ever have an idea that seems much better in your head then it actually ends up being?? Well today was one of those days. I thought for this Fridays Challenge “The Colour of Love” it would be a fun to get some balloons and take Maze down by the Thames...........fun it was not. I slipped in the snow and got snow down my pants.......Maze was more interested in the balloon than in letting me take her picture....and I kept getting wonky looks from people that walked by. lol

I was worried about taking my picture today.....yesterday was such a good day and we didn't have anything exciting planned for today. On our way home yesterday I went to Funky Monkey and picked up my order that was 50% off!! Maisie now has a new lunch box - Mr. Goodbyn & an ugly doll named Wage.... or Wade..... or Mushee. She hasn't made up her mind yet.

I was super excited when I woke up this morning and actually couldn't wait to get out the door.....something uncommon with me on a Saturday. We were heading to my cousins new house for her & her fiancees house warming. They have a beautiful old farm house and an awesome barn that I wanted to use for my picture today.....and of course it's always fun to get together with family. ;) I know there will be some days where I only end up posting one picture but today is just not one of those days.

Today I was at work all day so I told my oldest daughter she was going to HAVE to let me take her picture. Like I said before.....most of my kids - expecially the teens, do not like getting their picture taken.....90% of the time I get a wonky face or a faced half covered by hands. Just like this....

This is Mittens & his little friend snowball. Maze got Mittens just before Christmas and snowball joined the family not to long after. Kittens defintitely like to get into mischeif. Snowball loves my laptop.....she is either sittoing on it or trying to chew the cord.... and I just know Mitten is going to wreck my sheers. Seriously .... 5 kids......2 kittens What was I thinking??

I am jumping right in on this......and I am a little scared. I am not one for words so forgive me for my potential lack of "actual" blogging. The though of taking a picture a day for the next year has definatley inspired me to get back to taking pictures.....to bad I spent most of today creating my blog so it was just right. I decided that Maisie had to be my first photo for this project....she is really the only one of my kids who is will to let me take her picture still and she let me take a quick snap of her this morning. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. :)
