Day 12

This morning needed to be a nice relaxing one. I was lucky enough to wake up to a completely clean kitchen that showed no signs of the girls night last night.....I am such a lucky wife. So Maisie and I decided to mess it up a little and make some chocolate & banana smoothies.

Day 11

Tonight’s post is quick.....I was rushed to decide what to do my picture of today. Girl's night was tonight and since it was someone's birthday I decide to "make" a cake. lol....costco...I mean I did a pretty impressive job didn't I??

Day 10

I joined a Project 365 group......every week they have a "Fridays Challenge". This week's challenge??? A Self-Portrait...gahhhh. Seriously I hate HATE hate having my picture taken so today wasn't excatley fun for me, but I did follow through.....wonky face and all ;)

Day 9

Quintin doesn't like having his picture taken, he normally runs when he sees my camera come out. But I think he was feeling left out my blog because he was happy to let me take his picture on the way to school this morning.

When I came home from work tonight Maisie was pretending to sleep.........pretending to sleep is something she likes to do ALOT! It never lasts long though.

Day 6

Ekkkkk...I am cutting it close today. It's nearly 11pm and I have stayed up just so I could post some pics from today. It has been a long...long day. But at least it started off on the right track.....by making chocolate chip cookies with Maze.

Day 5

I was worried about taking my picture today.....yesterday was such a good day and we didn't have anything exciting planned for today. On our way home yesterday I went to Funky Monkey and picked up my order that was 50% off!! Maisie now has a new lunch box - Mr. Goodbyn & an ugly doll named Wage.... or Wade..... or Mushee. She hasn't made up her mind yet.

Day 4

I was super excited when I woke up this morning and actually couldn't wait to get out the door.....something uncommon with me on a Saturday. We were heading to my cousins new house for her & her fiancees house warming. They have a beautiful old farm house and an awesome barn that I wanted to use for my picture today.....and of course it's always fun to get together with family. ;) I know there will be some days where I only end up posting one picture but today is just not one of those days.

Day 3

Today I was at work all day so I told my oldest daughter she was going to HAVE to let me take her picture. Like I said before.....most of my kids - expecially the teens, do not like getting their picture taken.....90% of the time I get a wonky face or a faced half covered by hands. Just like this....

Day 2

This is Mittens & his little friend snowball. Maze got Mittens just before Christmas and snowball joined the family not to long after. Kittens defintitely like to get into mischeif. Snowball loves my laptop.....she is either sittoing on it or trying to chew the cord.... and I just know Mitten is going to wreck my sheers. Seriously .... 5 kids......2 kittens What was I thinking??

Day 1

I am jumping right in on this......and I am a little scared. I am not one for words so forgive me for my potential lack of "actual" blogging. The though of taking a picture a day for the next year has definatley inspired me to get back to taking pictures.....to bad I spent most of today creating my blog so it was just right. I decided that Maisie had to be my first photo for this project....she is really the only one of my kids who is will to let me take her picture still and she let me take a quick snap of her this morning. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. :)
